Jim Connelly's career began as a young boy living in the projects of a small factory town in Western Pennsylvania. Struggle and survival were life's lessons and he was determined to be a winner. His entrepreneurial spirit was born at the age of seven when he acquired his first business, a newspaper route. After high school he served two years in the US Army as a Signal Corp. specialist. In spite of this humble beginning, a positive attitude and determination led him across country to Beverly Hills, California. He became a room clerk at the Regency Beverly Wilshire Hotel, working himself up to become the General Manager of this $100 million property, a position he held for ten years.
Exploring other business opportunities, Connelly was invited by the chairman of Shearson Lehman to join the Wall Street Investment Banking firm. He became the first non-college graduate accepted into the firm's management program and graduated from the New York Institute of Finance in the top ten percent of his class.
Jim Connelly established International Leadership and lecturers to officers and companies desiring to become more successful leaders. Among his accomplishments, at the request of the President, Connelly facilitated Leadership Goal Setting for the California Governor's Conference and the President's Committee for Employment of People with Disabilities held at Stanford University. Today Connelly is Chairman and co-founder with his son Jeff of Integrated Communications Services, a nationwide communications and information systems services provider. He lives in Indiana at the edge of the Notre Dame campus with his wife Kate and daughter Katy Clare. Jim Connelly and Donna Jones
